Current research makes it clear that patient's that ask more questions, and therefore take a more active role in their healthcare treatment, have better outcomes. Can we develop an app that helps patients ask questions when they don't know what to ask?
The connection between stress and IBD symptoms is well known, so I've created an application to help each individual track their own daily stress levels in order to see a picture of how they might relate to symptoms of IBD.
The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) has wonderful resources for tracking one's own goals, habits, symptoms, and so much more. The only problem with these resources is that they are meant to be printed out and filled out by hand. I know having a printer and some colored pencils handy is not a given these days, so I created a digital version of one of their tools.
